Winner/Giveaway Saturday/Going Away

As most of you know already, I'm leaving tomorrow morning for San Diego for the funeral/memorial service and will be there for the week (I get back to London Saturday morning). As I have no idea what my internet access will be like while there, I am doing the draw for the giveaway early, and posting the new giveaway today, too. If I can post while there, I probably will, but I might not be able to (ack, ack, withdrawal!). I'll try to catch up when I get back, though, sad addict that I am...

Anyway. Courtest of DD2, Olivia, the winner of all the lovely Ozark Garden blocks from last week is... Hedgehog! Send me your address sometime and I will post the blocks to you after I get back.

Which brings me to this week's giveaway - a whole pile of pre-cut rectangles - these are all 2.5x3.5". For some reason at one point it seemed a good idea to me to cut scraps at this size (I think I had this book which used that size rectangles). Anyway, I have since decided I won't use them, probably, so off they go to new homes. There are a lot of them, I haven't counted and don't intend to, but plenty for multiple winners, so as my kids keep requesting a week where they can all three draw a name, we will have 3 winners this time around. I will draw the winner on the usual day - that is, Sunday next (if you want to be included in the draw, just leave a comment on this post before Sunday 18th). And I'll talk to you all then, if not sooner - oh, and don't have too much fun without me!

Wow!! I never win anything. In fact, the last thing I remember winning is a quart of motor oil long before I had a driving license!!! Thanks so much! (I suppose it's too greedy to ask to have my name thrown in this week, too...) Have a very safe trip.

Safe journey, Katy.

Aine loves her birthday present, lol, but what a memory. She remembers them on Olivia's bed!! She tossed out my quilted name pillow for the princess pillow! But she has taken to carrying around the I Spy quilt I made her on a daily basis now, so I still feel loved!!

My thoughts are with you as you head off to the memorial service. I hope you have a safe trip and are able to check in with us.

Please add my name to the drawing. I can see some of those fabrics in a postcard. :o)

I hope the trip goes smoothly.

Just as well I checked the comments, as this will (probably) appear immediately under a different Penny, who is not me.

Have a safe trip.

Would love to be included in this week's draw. I have a pattern in mind that would work for this size of scrap :)

Love your work, sorry your trip is for such a sad occasion. Your rectangles would work briliantly in my quilt group's Linus quilts.

Hope all goes well for your trip. I have never been a patchworker but I would love to be included in the draw as I think I should have a go at using patchwork pieces!
