Scrappy Log Cabins

Among the many quilt tops I've been putting together from my stash of blocks, there are 3 scrappy log cabins  - these are easy to put together because the order doesn't matter.

Some of the other blocks are much trickier as they have to be laid out a certain way and then kept in the right order.

Frankly, if all of them were as easy as these to put together into tops, I probably wouldn't have a stash of blocks!

I love log cabins but have never thought making them with various sized scraps. What fun. One more thing to add to my list......

Such a cute top. As always, I'm amazed by how much you get done.

That's what I need for my trip away -- a scrappy project that doesn't matter how it goes together! Your blocks look great together.

Those are very cute, Kate! I need to make some of those to use up some of my stash!
