Number 45

Another experiment with Tula Pink blocks - this one I thought I'd try in black, white and two other colours, but I'm not sure it worked. I'm still trying to reconcile the modern feel of these blocks, and the way they use colour, with the type of stash I have - not sure it's entirely successful, but I'm enjoying the ride!

And I'm sure this small stack will make a nice little quilt, even if they aren't perfect...

I think they work well. They'll make a lovely quilt.

Your last 5 posts have all shown up at one time on my computer and let me tell you there is quite of lot of scrappy eye candy to be seen. I really like the 45 block and the colors you show. And just LOOK at all those piles of blocks you've made. I see lots of quilts there. Love the controlled scrappiness of the modified rail fence block. I haven't done anything like that.....yet. I'll be sending you pictures of the 2 finished quilts from your gifted tops very soon.

I think it will surprise you when you finish it. The fabrics are working well together.
